Socient's primary mission is to create online businesses that tackles some of the challenges we see in our community. The following is a list of our online businesses with their particular mission:

Mission: To provide an affordable job board for small businesses

Approach: Small businesses, we know how you feel. We are in the same situation. If you as a business owner, are already stimulating the economy by providing jobs, why should you pay enormous amount of your hard earned money just to advertise your listing? Enter a network of affordable job boards serving various cities across the United States.

Mission: To promote safety in the highways and in our streets

Approach: By providing an affordable and simple web-based driver feedback, we take pricing and affordability out of the equation. This business targets small to medium sized company with fleet vehicles (i.e. non-medical transport companies, courier services, etc.) as well as parents of teen drivers.

Mission: To provide a reliable website content management system with e-commerce and e-mail marketing

Approach: By partnering with web technology leader Adobe with their technology platform, we've created a brand with a zing and one that we could call our own.

Mission: To inspire and promote the creativity of the local community through arts and culture.

Approach: The first of its kind in California and one of the pioneers of hyperlocal social network in the arts industry, we customized the Ning platform to provide a rich experience while diligently monitoring the network's daily activity.

Mission: To assist local job seekers and potential "boomerangs" in gaining employment

Approach: This brand consistently tops search engine rankings on keywords: fresno jobs. With the use of the Ning platform, Fresnojobs still maintains its lead on search engine positioning. A redesign into the Controlcamp platform is underway as well as potential partnership with local jobs initiative.

Mission: To engage the public in issues concerning our environment through social network

Approach: We partnered with a leading sustainability expert in Tom Cotter to co-found a local online community of individuals who are passionate about sustainable living and protecting our environment.

Mission: To provide an online resource for parents and children during summer months as well as to have an online marketing tool for camp directors and proprietors.

Approach: This brand consistently tops search engine rankings on keywords: fresno summer camps. We used our flagship product Controlcamp to create a website with e-commerce capabilities as well as a self-service web application so that camp directors could promote camp activities and programs online.
