A strong foundation for Stanislaus County

Written by Victor Ramayrat on Aug 02, 2013

A couple of months ago, Stanislaus Community Foundation called me to engage Socient in the re-design of their website.  As with any projects, there were constraints, but nothing that cannot be overcome when great people work together.  Such was the case with this project.

Their current CEO was tasked to take SCF to another level and engage the community of Stanislaus County with giving and philanthropy.  Like any projects we do at Socient, I took that opportunity to help by assisting those who help others.  So we went to work and establish our best practices in the design and development of the new website.  We ported stanislauscf.org to Controlcamp (Business Catalyst CMS) so that their staff could control the management of their content as well as use an integrated system with online marketing.

Today, as we launched the new site, we are excited on the possibilities that SCF could do with their website.  Not only could they expand to offer a secure area for the non-profits of Stanislaus County, or have an extranet for their board members, they can also use the same system to build an online grantmaking application tool similar to what we built for the Fresno Regional Foundation.

Congratulations to the staff of Stanislaus Community Foundation.

Update:

We know our clients are happy when the CEO gives feedback with free lunch:

Victor – just to echo Amanda’s note, THANK YOU! We love, love love our new website. If you ever find yourself in Modesto, we’d be happy to buy you lunch and thank you in person!
